Western is located on a 45 acre campus about ten miles from the center of the capital city, Salem, in Oregon’s picturesque Willamette Valley. 10 month full time voluntary service position. Serve as dorm leader for its high school dorm program. Experience working with youth preferred. Responsibilities include mentoring students, enforcing rules, planning, and supervising activities. Candidates must be willing to work with students from other cultures, promote a positive Christ-centered community, and be willing to work flexible hours. Start date August 30, 2010. Applications accepted until position filled. These voluntary service positions include a $400 monthly stipend ($4,000 paid over 10 months) and medical and car insurance.
