Most students in the school’s grades 6-12 are from the local area; the high school also enrolls international students. Western Mennonite School has an immediate opening for an energetic and dynamic leader for the Executive Director/Principal position. Established in 1945, sitting on 45 acres of wooded property, the middle school through high school campus serves between 150-200 students. The successful candidate will: advance and implement the mission and vision as set by the Board of Directors; will serve as the spokesperson for the school; will provide operational oversight and be responsible for the financial health of the school; will lead and collaborate with the administrative team in making key decisions; will serve as a Christ-centered leader from an interdenominational Christian perspective possessing relational skills for communicating with constituents, faculty, staff, and Board with an awareness that over 20 Christian denominations are represented on campus. The preferred candidate will possess a BA or BS and will affirm the shared convictions of Global Anabaptists.
Start date July 1, 2017 or earlier.
