| Mini-Term is a unique and integral part of our curriculum. For 38 years, Western students have participated in this week-long experience where they learn outside of the classroom. It has taken students to over 10 states and 11 different countries. For the last 5 to 7 days of school, students take part in an intensive course of study. Each mini-term offered incorporates goals that correlate with Western’s mission statement and our emphasis on equipping students for a life of service beyond our campus circle. Activities are planned to take students into new cultures and settings, expose them to the needy world around us all, and expand on their acquired life skill sets.
