Thank you for your interest in Western Mennonite School! If you are in the early stages of deciding a school, please visit Prospective Students for more information on the advantages of Western. If you are ready to start the enrollment process, see the steps below to know where to begin. Enrollment Process(Admittance is based on academics, references and openness to study in a Christian school.)
Explore Western Mennonite School
› Call, email or stop by the Admissions Office for an information packet, application and calendar of events.
› Attend a Visitors Day › Visit campus – you are welcome to schedule a campus tour at any time. Contact the Admissions Office to make arrangements. › Attend a WMS event for free – you are invited to music programs, athletic events, drama performances and other public events. Applications are complete when WMS has received the following:
› Completed application form › $50 non-refundable application fee › Recent photo › Copy of applicant’s most recent report card › Pastor reference › Teacher reference › Adult friend reference Notification Process
Once your application file is complete and all three references have been received, the Admission Committee will review your application. You will be notified within several days by phone and in writing of the committee’s decision.
Financial Aid Process
Western offers financial assistance to families who qualify. The grants are funded through the generosity of alumni and friends of WMS. Funds are limited, so families are encouraged to apply during or directly after the admission process. See Student Grants (in Financial Matters) for more information.
