» Clothing (Remember to pack for all seasons and types of weather.)
» Backpack (or buy upon arrival)
» Any medical prescriptions (to be given to dorm leaders upon arrival)
» Non-perishable food items from home (It’s a great idea to store extra snacks and drinks in your dorm room. They come in handy late at night and when you are unable to get to the dining hall. Remember, you won’t be able to get some of your favorite food items in America.)
» Room decorations (Posters, pictures frames, and other decorative items will add a personal style to your room, making it feel more at home.)
» Personal items from home (Homesickness is usually experienced by most students during their first weeks of dorm life. A special reminder of home can help to ease the sadness.)
