» SOOP

SOOP (Service Opportunities for Older People) gives adults seasoned by life a chance to use their gifts to help others, to make a difference in another’s life. SOOP is a joint program with Mennonite Association of Retired Persons and Mennonite Central Committee Canada. Western immediate needs include:

› Tutors
› General maintenance
› Bus driver

Other assignments could include painting, grounds-keeping, carpentry, and athletic field development.

Lodging: Currently several options for accommodations – modified dorm facilities, RV site possibilities, or local housing/home stays. There is no charge for lodging.
