Projects
To nurture the school’s unique mission in a rapidly changing environment, Western’s board of directors and administration began a strategic planning effort. This careful process created great excitement about Western’s future.
Drawing from the past and inspiration from the present, the school also asked about the communities dreams for Western’s future. It established task forces for the four vision components identified: academics, student life, administration, and campus plan.
From this prayerful process came Vision for Excellence 2000-2005, a plan that has provided important additions and changes to campus.
The projects of Vision for Excellence focus energy on Western’s mission. Each fresh perspective has strengthened a special area of program and has helped build a positive future.
