Since 1945, Western Mennonite School faculty and staff have mentored and discipled students for a life of faith and learning. We offer college preparatory curriculum taught in a Christ-centered atmosphere.

We strive to maintain small class sizes so students and faculty can form relationships of accountability and respect. Our student/teacher ratio is 16:1. Click for more quick facts!

One of our goals is to provide opportunities for students to grow and have fun outside of the classroom. Both middle school and high school students can participate in athletics, music, drama, academics, service and leadership activities.
-
-
The last week of school, students complete an outside-the-classroom learning course called Mini-Term. Students have the option of traveling to different states and countries or staying locally to explore the unknown, be exposed to the needy world around them and expand awareness of other cultures and people.

The WMS International Program was created to fulfill our desire to be a global community. Since 1945, Western has hosted students from 38 different countries; these students represent 12% of the high school student body.

At Western, we teach the Bible as the inspired Word of God, upholding an Anabaptist interpretation. Through Bible classes, chapel and experiences outside of the classroom, students learn the value of peace and service.

Western Mennonite offers students the option to dorm on campus. Through dorm living, students gain independence and increase responsibility. The experience is a great transition into college life. Students can dorm 5 or 7 days a week.
