Western Mennonite School is hosting its 38^th Annual Benefit Auction, held at the Salem State Fairgrounds. Proceeds support students, faculty, staff, and the program at Western. Join the community on Saturday, May 1 for a live and silent auction, 5K Fun Run/Walk, children’s activities and food.

There will be hand-stitched quilts, vacation packages, garden and recreational items, hand-crafted furniture, and food. Highlighted items include patio, den and bedroom furniture, hunting and fishing trips, a 1997 Geo Metro, and a three-piece rock column fountain. 

In conjunction with the auction, there will be a special time to donate towards Western’s student grant program, and the student locker room update in the main gym.

Join the 5^th Annual Stampede for Students 5K Fun Run/Walk and receive a T-shirt and prizes. Register by April 23 and get the early bird special of $15 ($22 after April 23). Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. on auction day, and the run/walk starts at 8 a.m.

Silent auction begins at 8 a.m. with the live auction starting at 9 a.m. A short music event will kick-off the live auction.

Admission and parking are free. Come to The Americraft Center (Jackman-Long Building) on Saturday, May 1 for a day of fun and giving. More information at www.westernmennoniteschool.org.
