38th Annual Benefit Auction

Western Mennonite School is hosting its 38th Annual Benefit Auction, held at the Salem State Fairgrounds. Proceeds support students, faculty, staff, and the program at Western. Join the community on Saturday, May 1 for a live and silent auction, 5K Fun Run/Walk, children’s activities and food.

There will be hand-stitched quilts, vacation packages, garden and recreational items, hand-crafted furniture, and food. Highlighted items include patio, den and bedroom furniture, hunting and fishing trips, a 1997 Geo Metro, and a three-piece rock column fountain. 

In conjunction with the auction, there will be a special time to donate towards Western’s student grant program, and the student locker room update in the main gym.

Join the 5th Annual Stampede for Students 5K Fun Run/Walk and receive a T-shirt and prizes. Register by April 23 and get the early bird special of $15 ($22 after April 23). Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. on auction day, and the run/walk starts at 8 a.m.

Silent auction begins at 8 a.m. with the live auction starting at 9 a.m. A short music event will kick-off the live auction.

Admission and parking are free. Come to The Americraft Center (Jackman-Long Building) on Saturday, May 1 for a day of fun and giving. More information at www.westernmennoniteschool.org.
